Our Identity Found in GodI felt led to write a devotional book. It's not necessarily a "lent" devotional, but there is a daily devotion from Sunday, March 5 through Easter Sunday, April 16th. The topics that are included are designed to nudge us to go deep in exploring our relationship between us and God. When we think about Easter, the surface acknowledgement of Jesus, our Savior, who died on the cross and was resurrected, is remembered and celebrated. Normally we spend time focusing on all the aspects of the Passion week, and all that is the core of our commitment to Him. These devotionals are meant to bring us in even closer to the heart of God and His plan. By looking at God, the Creator, the Potter, the Shepherd, the Father, the Priest, the King and the Redeemer, we can step into who we are as the created, the clay pot, the sheep, the child of God, the forgiven, the kingdom and the redeemed. My prayer is that this set of devotionals will allow us to get a glimpse into God's plan and pure love for His people, and be transformed in realizing our true identity in Him. I plan on sharing the devotionals on this blog and via Facebook each day. March 5-9: The Creator and The Creation March 10-16: The Potter and The Clay March 17-23: The Shepherd and The Sheep March 24-30: The Father and the Child of God March 31-April 6: The High Priest and the Forgiven April 7-11: The King and the Kingdom April 12-16: The Redeemer and the Redeemed May we join together and grow in our relationship with God. I pray that God can unveil our eyes and show us His glory.
